Welcome everyone to my creative garden space!

My name is Nicole Benn, I'm the author of Ice In The Air, book 1 of the upcoming Dragon Core universe. It is set to be released May 28, 2026. The Kickstarter is going live on April 28, backers in the first 48 hours will receive a free dragon sticker.

The dragons you'll find in my world were designed with inspiration from nature and created with my knowledge as an ecologist. All members of the Snowberry Garden receive a free copy of my hand illustrated and written journal of my dragons in a document of high res scans. The pages hold the lore of my fantasy world and the logic of my Dragon Core magic system.

I'm also an artist, self-illustrating the cover art for the novel and creating printable journal pages. Any illustrations you find on this page or within my newsletter were drawn or painted by myself in a mixture of watercolors, markers, and pencil crayons.
